About
My name is Catina (Tina) Souder
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) in the State of Texas and the founder of Rolling Plains Counseling & Wellness Center. I earned both my Bachelor's degree in Education and my Master's degree in Counseling from West Texas A&M University and have dedicated my career to helping children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigate life's most difficult challenges.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with individuals across a wide variety of settings, including public schools throughout the Texas Panhandle, probation departments, foster care, Child Protective Services, and private practice. My clinical experience includes working with anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem concerns, addiction recovery, behavioral challenges, parenting concerns, and relationship issues. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients develop practical tools for lasting change. I am also a certified Prepare/Enrich Facilitator for premarital and couples counseling.
In addition to providing therapy, I offer specialized court-connected services throughout Texas, including Parenting Facilitation, Parenting Coordination, Child Custody Evaluations, Co-Parenting Coaching, Court-Ordered Supervised Visitation, and clinical supervision for LPC Associates. My approach is grounded in professionalism, impartiality, and a commitment to helping families reduce conflict while keeping the best interests of children at the center of every decision.
As an LPC-S, I enjoy mentoring the next generation of counselors through a supportive, collaborative supervision model that combines individual, dyad, and group learning to strengthen clinical confidence and professional growth.
Above all, I believe people are remarkably resilient. While we cannot always change our circumstances, we can change the way we understand, respond to, and move through them. My goal is to provide a safe, compassionate, and practical environment where clients leave each session with greater hope, clarity, and confidence than when they arrived.
