ABOUT ME
I am a graduate of West Texas A&M University. I have a bachelor's degree in education and a master's degree in counseling. I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Texas. I am also a supervisor and can supervise interns on their way to becoming fully certified. I have experience counseling children in school districts across the Panhandle of Texas having been contracted through Region 16. I have done work with the area probation departments and have counseled many who have been in need of addiction counseling and counseling following rehab. I have worked with foster children and their families, children who have been sexually and physically abused, and children in need of behavior modification. I have worked with adults who have depression, anxiety, and those with self-image/self-esteem concerns. I also have worked with married couples as well as premarital couples and am certified as a Prepare/Enrich facilitator. I am trained in EMDR therapy as well. I truly believe that if you can change the way a person negatively perceives their world you can change the negative and destructive behaviors in their lives.
I currently have offices located in Wellington, Childress and Pampa and do provide services via a telementalhealth platform.
